Five four-hour lessons that take teachers from the basics of artificial intelligence to everyday classroom use: how AI works, what personalized learning, virtual tutors and chatbots can do in school, how to design AI-enhanced learning materials, how to set ethical guidelines on privacy and fairness, and how to build a roadmap for bringing AI into their teaching.

This course is designed to empower educators with a fundamental understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in the field of education. Through a series of engaging lessons, participants will explore AI concepts, practical applications, and ethical considerations for integrating AI tools into their teaching methods.

Lesson 1: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (4 hours)

  • What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
  • Brief history and evolution of AI.
  • Types of AI: Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision.
  • Real-world examples of AI applications.

Lesson 2: AI in Education (4 hours)

  • The role of AI in modern education.

  • Virtual tutors and educational chatbots.
  • Case studies of AI integration in classrooms.

Lesson 3: Creating AI-Enhanced Learning Materials (4 hours)

  • Designing AI-driven educational content.

  • Practical exercises in content creation.

Lesson 4: Ethical Considerations in AI Education (4 hours)

Learning Objectives
