This Erasmus training course empowers educators across Europe with the knowledge and skills to create inclusive classrooms that cater to the diverse needs of all learners. Over five days (25 hours or more), participants will explore a range of differentiation strategies, fostering a more engaging and effective learning experience for every student.

A 5-Day Intensive Programme (20 hours)
This concise program provides a foundational understanding of gender dynamics in education and equips participants with the knowledge and strategies to foster inclusive learning environments for all students.
Day 1: Understanding Gender in Education
Exploring gender as a social construct. Examining gender stereotypes and biases in education. Analyzing the impact of gender on learning and achievement.
Day 2: Creating Gender-Inclusive Classrooms
Promoting gender equality in teaching practices and materials. Using inclusive language and communication strategies. Challenging gender stereotypes and promoting positive role models.
Day 3: Addressing Gender-Based Violence and Discrimination
Recognizing and responding to gender-based violence in schools. Implementing strategies to prevent and address sexual harassment. Creating safe and supportive learning environments for all students.
Day 4: Empowering All Learners
Promoting girls’ education and leadership. Supporting boys’ emotional and social development. Creating inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ students.
Day 5: Building a Gender-Inclusive School Culture
Developing and implementing gender-inclusive policies. Engaging families and communities in promoting gender equality. Creating a sustainable framework for gender-inclusive education.
Learning Objectives
Overall objective: to provide teachers with the theoretical and practical tools to address gender issues in education, promoting a culture of inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for all students.

Methodology & Assessment
This course employs an experiential and highly interactive methodology. Teaching modes include interactive workshops (hands-on activities and group exercises), case studies and simulations (analyzing real-world scenarios), peer learning and group discussions, trainer-led presentations, and individual reflection.
Assessment is based on active participation, practical application exercises, development of a personal action plan, self-assessment and peer feedback, and informal observation by trainers throughout the course.
Materials, Digital Tools & Other Learning Resources
Participants will receive comprehensive course workbooks with theoretical frameworks, practical exercises, and templates. Presentation slides will support key concepts. Interactive online platforms (e.g., Padlet, Miro) will be used for collaborative activities and to share additional resources like articles, videos, and relevant research. Participants are encouraged to bring their own digital devices. Access to a dedicated online repository is provided.
