This intensive Erasmus training course is designed to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to become effective mentors and coaches. Participants will explore the theoretical foundations of mentoring and coaching, develop essential communication and feedback techniques, and learn how to build trusting relationships that support professional growth.

Day 1: Foundations of Mentorship and Coaching
Defining mentorship and coaching in the educational context. Exploring different models and approaches to mentorship and coaching. Understanding the ethical considerations and professional standards.
Day 2: Building Effective Relationships
Developing communication and interpersonal skills for mentorship and coaching. Establishing trust and rapport with mentees/coachees. Creating a safe and supportive environment for growth.
Day 3: Mentoring and Coaching Skills
Active listening and questioning techniques. Providing constructive feedback and guidance. Goal setting and action planning.
Day 4: Supporting Growth and Development
Facilitating self-reflection and self-awareness. Promoting professional learning and skill development. Addressing challenges and fostering resilience.
Day 5: Evaluating and Sustaining Mentorship and Coaching Programs
Measuring the impact of mentorship and coaching. Ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement. Building a culture of mentorship and coaching within the school or organization.
