Creating a safe school is a prerequisite for effective learning. This essential 25-hour course equips educators with the knowledge and tools to tackle bullying and cyberbullying head-on. Participants will explore the psychology of bullying, identifying the roles of bully, victim, and bystander. We will cover practical, evidence-based prevention strategies, including promoting digital citizenship, fostering empathy, and implementing school-wide policies. The course provides clear protocols for intervention and response. Through case studies and collaborative planning, you will develop a concrete action plan to create a zero-tolerance culture for bullying in your school community.
Learning Objectives

Methodology & Assessment
This course utilizes a practical, problem-solving approach. It includes expert-led presentations, interactive workshops, analysis of real-world case studies, and policy-making simulations. Participants will work in international groups to share experiences and develop best practices. Assessment is continuous and practical, based on active participation in discussions and the collaborative development of a school anti-bullying policy or action plan. A final presentation allows for peer feedback and refinement of the plan.
Materials, Digital Tools & Other Learning Resources
A digital resource kit will be provided, including policy templates, lesson plans on digital citizenship and empathy, intervention checklists, and links to international anti-bullying organizations. A shared drive will be used for collaborative work and resource sharing.
