Reactivate and boost your English! This course is designed for non-native English-speaking educators who wish to improve their fluency, expand their professional vocabulary, and gain the confidence to participate fully in international projects, conferences, and Erasmus+ mobilities.
Description
This refresher course focuses on the practical, communicative English needed for a professional educational context. Moving beyond basic grammar, we will immerse participants in real-world scenarios such as professional networking, presenting a school project, participating in panel discussions, and understanding different European accents. Activities are designed to improve listening comprehension, build conversational fluency, and expand vocabulary related to pedagogy, technology, and European project management. The goal is to lower communication barriers and empower you to confidently share your ideas, collaborate with international partners, and make the most of every European mobility experience. It’s a perfect blend of language practice and professional development.

- Expand their active vocabulary related to education, technology, and international cooperation

Methodology & Assessment
The course is based on the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, maximizing opportunities for authentic language use. The methodology includes interactive activities, role-playing, simulations of real-life professional scenarios, group discussions, and collaborative project work. Participants learn in an immersive, English-speaking environment. Assessment is continuous and portfolio-based, focusing on participation and the successful completion of communicative tasks (e.g., a mock networking session, a project pitch). There are no formal written exams; instead, progress is measured by the participant’s growing confidence and ability to effectively use English in practical, job-related contexts.
Materials, Digital Tools & Other Learning Resources
All materials are included. The course uses a variety of authentic resources such as articles from educational journals, TED Talks, and podcasts. Participants will have access to a shared online platform with session slides, vocabulary lists, and supplementary learning resources. Several free language-learning apps and websites are also introduced to support continued learning after the course.
