Description
Go beyond theory and dive straight into practice. This course is designed for both beginners and those with some eTwinning experience who wish to enhance their project management skills. We will navigate the eTwinning platform together, from creating a strong profile to finding reliable international partners. You will learn the cornerstones of a successful project: collaborative planning, clear communication, and engaging activities that foster intercultural dialogue and digital skills. We will explore the functionalities of the TwinSpace, discover web 2.0 tools for student collaboration, and discuss strategies for project evaluation and dissemination. By the end of the week, you will have a solid project draft and the confidence to launch your next international partnership.

- Navigate the eTwinning platform and its key features (Live, Partner Forums, TwinSpace) with confidence
- Develop a compelling project idea and find suitable international partners for collaboration
- Co-design a detailed and realistic project plan with clear goals, activities, timeline, and evaluation criteria
- Master the use of the TwinSpace as a safe and effective collaborative learning environment
- Integrate various Web 2.0 tools to enhance student engagement and collaborative work
- Apply for eTwinning Quality Labels by understanding the award criteria
- Promote digital citizenship, e-safety, and intercultural competences within their projects
Methodology & Assessment
This is a hands-on, workshop-based course. The methodology is “learning by doing,” with participants working directly on the eTwinning platform throughout the week. Sessions will be structured around practical tasks, such as creating profiles, searching for partners, and collaboratively building a project plan in small international groups. Peer feedback and sharing of experiences are integral to the learning process. Assessment will be based on the successful completion of practical tasks on the platform and the final creation of a well-structured draft eTwinning project, ready to be launched.
Materials, Digital Tools & Other Learning Resources
The primary material is the eTwinning platform itself. Laptops or tablets are required. The course uses a range of free online tools for collaboration and content creation (e.g., Padlet, Canva, Tricider) and explores the official eTwinning materials and tutorials. A shared digital folder will be created for all resources.
