This intensive Erasmus training course is designed to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to become effective mentors and coaches. Participants will explore the theoretical foundations of mentoring and coaching, develop essential communication and feedback techniques, and learn how to build trusting relationships that support professional growth.

Educator Mentoring & Coaching Intensive

Day 1: Foundations Define roles and ethical boundaries. Explore frameworks to build trust and professional alignment.

Day 2: Communication Master active listening and “powerful questioning.” Learn to provide feedback that sparks reflection rather than defensiveness.

Day 3: Strategies Focus on goal setting using the GROW Model. Practice observation techniques and structured action planning for professional growth.

Day 4: Support & Resilience Learn to navigate challenges and boost mentee self-efficacy. Focus on building resilience and celebrating incremental wins.

Day 5: Culture & Impact Scale individual skills into a school-wide program. Develop evaluation tools to measure impact and ensure long-term sustainability.

  • Develop skills for building effective mentoring and coaching relationships.
